Volleyball Recap: Wakpala Takes a Loss

Wakpala was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the North Central Thunder, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Sioux have suffered since September 30th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-11, 25-10.

North Central can attribute much of their success to Camryn Witlock, who had 21 assists. That's the most assists Witlock has posted over her last six matchups.

Wakpala's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for North Central, they pushed their record up to 19-10 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Wakpala will take on McIntosh at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Central, they will face off against Warner at 7:45 p.m. on Monday.
