Willow Springs hadn't done well against Mountain Grove recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Bears came out on top in a nail-biter against the Panthers, sneaking past 4-2. Winning may never get old, but the Bears sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Willow Springs' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-4. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Mountain Grove, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

Willow Springs will venture away from home to take on Cabool at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Mountain Grove, they will take on Mt. Vernon at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
