Volleyball Recap: Dugway Comes Up Short

If Dugway was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Rockwell last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Dugway Mustangs lost 3-0 to the Freedom Prep Academy Eagles on Thursday. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Dugway was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-16, 25-23.

Dugway's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dugway will welcome Vanguard Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Freedom Prep Academy, they will take on Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
