Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chiles). They claimed a resounding 78-46 win over the Maclay Marauders. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 48-23.

Chiles was led to victory by Gabe Parks and Carson Ginn. Parks shot 5-for-9 from downtown and dropped a double-double with 23 points and 11 boards, while Ginn shot 67% from the field on his way to 20 points in addition to five blocks and four steals. Those four steals gave Ginn a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Mauler, who posted seven points and five assists.

Chiles was working as a unit and finished the game with 27 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Maclay's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Christopher Foos, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 12 points. Another player making a difference was Beau Beshears, who had eight points.

With the victory, Chiles broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3. As for Maclay, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Chiles has already played their next contest, a 70-52 win against Community Leadership Academy on the 8th. As for Maclay, they will square off against Bozeman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Marauders will need to watch out since the Bucks have now posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
