Softball Game Preview: Madison Mustangs vs. Adamsville Cardinals

Madison is 0-10 against Adamsville since April of 2015 but things could change on Monday. Madison will look to defend their home field against Adamsville at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Madison is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Trinity Christian Academy.

Meanwhile, Adamsville fell victim to Karns and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 7-0 to the Beavers. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Cardinals were not able to get on the board.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Adamsville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.
