Baseball Recap: Jurupa Valley Comes Up Short

Jurupa Valley lost against La Sierra on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Jaguars fell 6-1 to the Eagles. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jurupa Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan Martinez, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double. Nicholas Higgins also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Jurupa Valley's loss dropped their record down to 12-7-1. As for La Sierra, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-11.

Jurupa Valley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 11-5 defeat against Don Lugo on the 21st. As for La Sierra, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-3 victory against Patriot on the 22nd.
