Volleyball Recap: Annenberg Comes Up Short

Annenberg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Orthopaedic Vipers. The shutout was out of character for the Panthers seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

While Annenberg was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-23, 25-17.

Annenberg's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Orthopaedic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Annenberg is set to challenge their familiar foe USC-MAE at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Orthopaedic will face off against rival Animo Bunche at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
