Football Recap: Tomball Memorial Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Tomball Memorial was feeling good fresh off their 40-10 takedown of Cypress Creek two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats had to suffer through a 52-19 loss at the hands of the Magnolia Bulldogs. The Wildcats lost against the Bulldogs in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 38-33 score last time.

Tomball Memorial lost on Friday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Carter Hamilton, who picked up 150 receiving yards and one score. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 73 yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Tomball Memorial fell to 2-1. As for Magnolia, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coincidentally, Tomball Memorial and Magnolia will both be playing Klein Cain the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will host the Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on the 4th.
