Basketball Recap: Orem Takes a Loss

Orem was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 53-31 to the Mountain View Bruins. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-32 on January 14th.

Orem's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Mountain View, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-6.

Orem and Mountain View could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Utah Rankings. Orem (ranked 104th) will meet Provo (ranked 23rd) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Mountain View will take on Payson at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday down 37 places (46 vs. 9).
