Softball Recap: Salem Wildcats vs. Tylertown Chiefs

Salem can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent match on Thursday. They blew past the Tylertown Chiefs 14-1. The victory was familiar territory for Salem who now have eight in a row.

Marissa Pollard was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Pollard has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances. Pollard was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with five RBI, a run, and a double.
