Preview: Rio Vista Rams vs. Buckingham Charter Knights
Rio Vista has been on the road for three straight, but on Monday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Buckingham Charter Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Rio Vista focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Saturday.
Last Saturday, Rio Vista was able to grind out a solid win over Golden Sierra, taking the game 52-43.
Rio Vista got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Matt Bodle out in front who scored 9 points along with 8 rebounds and 7 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Holley, who scored 20 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
Meanwhile, Buckingham Charter took a serious blow against Sacramento Waldorf on Friday, falling 56-27. Buckingham Charter has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Rio Vista's victory bumped their season record to 2-3 while Golden Sierra's loss dropped theirs to 0-3.
