The Providence Country Day Knights will venture away from home to challenge the Burrillville Broncos at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Providence Country Day took a three-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Cranston East, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Knights came out on top in a nail-biter against the Thunderbolts last Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2. The win was some much needed relief for Providence Country Day as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Maddie Ford and Molly Perrotta scored all three of Providence Country Day's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

Meanwhile, Burrillville faced Classical in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Broncos came out on top against the Purple by a score of 2-0. The victory continues a trend for Burrillville in their matchups with Classical: they've now won six in a row.
