Four-star senior joins small list of girls to dunk in high school basketball game.

Mississippi State commit Madison Francis of Lancaster (N.Y.) did what only a handful of high school girls basketball players have done in a game — throw down a dunk.

The 6-foot-2 forward scooped up a loose ball late in the Lancaster's 80-33 win Tuesday over Williamsville North (Williamsville). The senior raced past a defender and gathered around the free throw line for the one-handed flush as seen in the video above.

Regarded as the No. 26 overall prospect in the Class of 2025 by 247Sports, Francis is averaging 31.3 points, 15.5 rebounds, 5.4 steals and 3.5 assists per night in leading her team to a 13-3 record.

As a junior, Francis averaged nearly 30 points per game to lead Lancaster to the Class AAA title and then helped the USA U18 national team win gold at the FIBA AmeriCup Championship in Colombia.

Only a handful of girls have dunked in a high school game, including Brittney Griner, Candace Parker, Breanna Stewart, Toby Fournier and Fran Belibi.

Junior standout Addison Bjorn of Park Hill South (Riverside, Mo.) was reported to have dunked Wednesday, but no video has materialized as of yet.
