Lake Country Lutheran won the last time they faced Poynette and things went their way on Saturday too. The Lightning came out on top against the Pumas by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lightning.

Adeleine Catlin paced Lake Country Lutheran's offense, picking up six kills. Catlin got some help from Grace Luedke and her 14 assists. Catlin was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Lake Country Lutheran's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Poynette, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Coincidentally, Lake Country Lutheran and Poynette will both be playing Baraboo the next time they take the court. The Pumas will head out to face the Thunderbirds at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Lightning will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
