Soccer Recap: Mae Jemison Comes Up Short

Mae Jemison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 4-2 to the Hazel Green Trojans. If the Jaguars were looking for revenge after losing 11-2 to the Trojans when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mae Jemison's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7-1. As for Hazel Green, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Mae Jemison wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Brooks on the 7th. As for Hazel Green, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Scottsboro on the 7th.
