Recap: Red Boiling Springs Bulldogs vs. Wilson Central Wildcats
The Red Boiling Springs Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They fell just short of Wilson Central by a score of 67-64. While losing is never fun, Red Boiling Springs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 160th, while Wilson Central is ranked 44th).
Wilson Central found their leader in underclassman Brylee Fly, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 10 rebounds. Fly is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Evert, who scored 14 points.
Red Boiling Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Wilson Central, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
Red Boiling Springs will be playing in front of their home fans against Trousdale County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Wilson Central is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Brentwood at 6:00 p.m. on November 28th. Brentwood is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
