Carthage took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Pittsburg, who comes in off a win.

Pittsburg had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They never let Chapel Hill onto the board and left with a 3-0 win.

Pittsburg hit Chapel Hill with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ethan Delacruz, Itzael Falcon, and Alan Ramirez.

Meanwhile, Carthage fell victim to Paris and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 1-0. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pittsburg took their victory against Carthage when the teams last played back in January of 2020 by a conclusive 3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pittsburg since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
