Basketball Recap: Hirsch Comes Up Short

After soaring to 67 points the game before, Hirsch was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They were dealt a 73-28 defeat at the hands of the Bowen Boilermakers. The game marked the Huskies' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Hirsch dropped their record down to 2-6 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bowen, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-9.

Hirsch will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Excel Academy of Englewood at 4:30 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Bowen, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Marian Catholic at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
