Soccer Recap: Lampeter-Strasburg Takes a Loss

Lampeter-Strasburg was the 2-1 winner over Lower Dauphin when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pioneers fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Lampeter-Strasburg can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 323rd, while Lower Dauphin are ranked 89th).

Lampeter-Strasburg has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9-1 record this season. As for Lower Dauphin, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3-1.

Lampeter-Strasburg didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Northern Lebanon on the 29th. As for Lower Dauphin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Red Land on the 29th.
