Oaktree Academy hadn't done well against TEACH Homeschool recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Grizzlies were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Beach Breakers. This was a revenge game for the Grizzlies: when they faced off against the Beach Breakers back in September, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

While Oaktree Academy might've won, it sure wasn't easy: TEACH Homeschool scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20, 25-24.

The victory got Oaktree Academy back to even at 5-5. As for TEACH Homeschool, they dropped their record down to 15-13-1 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Oaktree Academy and TEACH Homeschool will both be playing Summit Christian Academy the next time they take the court. The Grizzlies will head out to face the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Beach Breakers will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
