Football Recap: Watertown Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Watertown had lost four straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 0-4 to make it five. They had to suffer through a 50-7 loss at the hands of the Woodland Regional Hawks. On the bright side, the seven- point effort marked the Warriors' highest-scoring contest to date.

As for Woodland Regional, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 50.8 points this season.

Jack Brunetti produced another solid performance throwing for 335 yards and three TDs while completing 89.5% of his passes. Those 335 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Justin Pringle, who picked up 105 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Watertown will head out to take on St. Paul Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Woodland Regional, they will venture away from home to challenge Crosby at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
