Volleyball Recap: Chambers Takes a Loss

Chambers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Olympic Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Chambers sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-15, 17-25, 25-19, 19-25, 15-13.

Chambers' defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Olympic, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-13.

Looking ahead, Chambers will take on Mallard Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Olympic, they will be playing at home against Hickory Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
