Benson entered their tilt with Bisbee on Tuesday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They put the hurt on the Pumas with a sharp 3-0 win. The Bobcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pumas, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Benson took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-13, 25-15.

Hazel Chapman paced Benson's offense, picking up eight kills. Chapman got some help from Halle Hatch and her 17 assists. Chapman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Benson's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Bisbee, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Benson will head out to face off against Tombstone at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bisbee, they will take on Madison Highland Prep in a tournament on Friday.
