Volleyball Recap: North Gwinnett Starts Season with Loss at Home

North Gwinnett unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Dacula Falcons by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.

North Gwinnett took Dacula into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-23, 25-15, 20-25, 15-11.

Coming up, North Gwinnett will face off against North Hall at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Dacula, they will square off against Westminster Christian Academy at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
