Recap: Houston Wildcats vs. New Knoxville Rangers
If the Houston Wildcats were riding high off their 48-23 takedown of the Fairlawn Jets last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Houston took a 38-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of New Knoxville. Houston was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as New Knoxville apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Brynn Egbert was the offensive standout of the contest as she scored eight points along with 12 rebounds and two blocks. Addi Albers was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Houston has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for New Knoxville, their victory bumped their record up to 2-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Houston will take on Riverside at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverside is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for New Knoxville, they will play host again and welcome Spencerville, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
