South Ripley hasn't had much luck against Rising Sun recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Raiders will take on the Shiners at 5:00 p.m. Rising Sun took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on South Ripley, who comes in off a win.

South Ripley's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over Southwestern. The victory made it back-to-back wins for South Ripley.

They hit Southwestern with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Madison Melton (2), Ellie Combs, Emma Justus, and Zoe Clowers.

Meanwhile, Rising Sun has been on a difficult stretch since their win on September 5. They fell just short of Milan by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Rising Sun couldn't quite close it out.

South Ripley now has a winning record of 7-6-1. As for Rising Sun, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9-2.
