Football Game Preview: DeKalb County vs. Macon County

On Friday Macon County take on DeKalb County at 7:00 PM. Macon County are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the game prepared for a fight.

After having lost a blowout in their match two weeks ago against Stone Memorial, Macon County were happy to find some success last Friday. Macon County walked away with a 21-12 victory over Portland. The Macon County offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the match anyway.

Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for DeKalb County, and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to three. They took a 34-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Smith County. DeKalb County were down by 14-41 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Macon County's win lifted them to 3-4 while DeKalb County's defeat dropped them down to 2-6. We'll find out if Macon County can add another positive mark to their record or if DeKalb County can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Macon County's step.
