Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Loss Ends Plainview's Winning Streak

After flying high against Bel Air last Friday, Plainview came back down to earth. The Plainview Bulldogs took a 61-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lubbock-Cooper Pirates. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 60-47 to them when the teams met on Tuesday, then they'll just have to keep looking.

With the loss, Plainview broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-3. As for Lubbock-Cooper, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.

Plainview will welcome Palo Duro at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lubbock-Cooper, they will venture away from home to challenge Caprock at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Lubbock-Cooper is facing Caprock at the right time seeing as Caprock is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
