Crisp County skates past Dooly County with ease

Recap: Crisp County Cougars vs. Dooly County Bobcats
The Crisp County Cougars can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Friday. They claimed a resounding 64-18 win over Dooly County on the road. Crisp County's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Crisp County found their leader in underclassman Mariyah Chambers, who scored 22 points. Those 22 points set a new season-high mark for her. Janiya Collins was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Crisp County's win bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Dooly County, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crisp County will be home for the holidays to greet Mary Persons at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Mary Persons focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Tuesday. Dooly County will be home for the holidays to greet Twiggs County at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Twiggs County is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
