Gothenburg won the last time they faced St. Patrick and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Swedes blew past the Irish 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Swedes.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-11, 25-19.

Gothenburg's offense was headlined by Halsey Thomalla and Lindly Anderson, who picked up 11 kills apiece. They got some help from Ruby Bell and her 24 assists. Anderson also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kaitlyn Hecox, racking up four apiece.

Gothenburg's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for St. Patrick's, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Gothenburg and Amherst will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another on Tuesday. As for St. Patrick's, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cozad at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
