It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lone Peak had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Riverton Silverwolves 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Knights have posted since March 21st.

Lone Peak's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Ladd, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

The victory snapped Lone Peak's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-14 record. As for Riverton, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-9.

Lone Peak will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Silverwolves: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
