The Triton Central Tigers will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Speedway Sparkplugs at 7:30 p.m. Triton Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Friday, Triton Central was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 57-51 to Beech Grove. Triton Central has not had much luck with Beech Grove recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Triton Central's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Eli Sego, who scored 24 points along with two steals, and Silas Blair who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. Sego continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Gavin Morgan was another key contributor, scoring three points along with two steals.

Speedway can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They walked away with a 54-43 victory over Indianapolis Scecina Memorial. The victory was just what Speedway needed coming off of a 74-51 defeat in their prior game.

Triton Central's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-6. As for Speedway, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11.
