Marion came out on top against Collinsville on Friday thanks in part to Callahan Roper's efforts. Roper did his part (and then some), throwing for 405 yards and four TDs while picking up 14.0 yards per attempt for the 'W'. His passing game has become a key predictor of Marion's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 0-3 otherwise.

Coming up, Roper and Marion will head out to square off against Carbondale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Roper will face off against Davin Wooley, the Terriers' star signal caller.
