If Lake Central was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Valparaiso last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Indians came up short against the Chesterton Trojans on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Indians' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-12, 25-22.

Alexa Iwema paced Lake Central's offense, picking up ten kills. Iwema got some help from Isabella Steliga and her 13 assists. Brooklyn Barth controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Lake Central's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Chesterton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record this season.
