Dixie is 0-6 against Arcanum since April of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Greyhounds will venture away from home to face off against the Trojans at 5:00 p.m. Dixie is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.5 runs per game this season.

On Saturday, Dixie got the win against Oakwood by a conclusive 11-2. The Greyhounds haven't had any issues with the Lumberjacks & Jills recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Dixie let Ella Kreitzer and Chelsea Lamb run wild. Kreitzer went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double, while Lamb went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run. Those hits were Lamb's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Kierstin Alderman, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one double.

Dixie always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oakwood only posted an OBP of .360.

Meanwhile, Arcanum came up short against Carlisle on Saturday and fell 13-8.

Arcanum's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Dixie, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Dixie suffered a grim 13-0 defeat to Arcanum in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. Can the Greyhounds avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
