Volleyball Recap: Ganesha Extends Winning Streak to Four

Ganesha had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They came out on top against the Edgewood Lions by a score of 3-1. The game was the first time the Giants have beaten the Lions on their court since October 6, 2021.

Ganesha had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 0-25, 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

The win got Ganesha back to even at 8-8. As for Edgewood, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ganesha is set to face off against their familiar foe La Puente at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Edgewood will square off against rival Workman at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
