Basketball Recap: Rio Vista Rams vs. Highlands Scots
The Rio Vista Rams can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They blew past Highlands 70-45. That's another feather in the cap for Rio Vista, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Ashlynd Rhett, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Rio Vista's points. Matt Bodle was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds.
Rio Vista has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Highlands, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-12.
