Horseshoe Bend has gone a perfect 10-0 against Council recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lumberjacks at 5:00 p.m. Horseshoe Bend will be strutting in after a victory while Council will be coming in after a defeat.

On Wednesday, Horseshoe Bend got the win against Greenleaf Friends Academy by a conclusive 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Grizzlies: they've now won six in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Horseshoe Bend was: they took every set by at least 17 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-8, 25-5.

Meanwhile, Council unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Wednesday. They came up short against Salmon River, falling 3-0. Lumberjacks fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Savages since Wednesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-16, 25-13.

Council's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Horseshoe Bend, their victory bumped their record up to 15-5.

Horseshoe Bend took their win against Council in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Lumberjacks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
