Softball Game Preview: Camden Central Lions vs. Harpeth Indians

The Camden Central Lions will square off against the Harpeth Indians at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

Camden Central is headed into the match having just suffered their closest defeat since April 23, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of Harbor Creek by a score of 11-9.

Meanwhile, Harpeth and Franklin finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw on Wednesday.

Camden Central has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games. Harpeth's draw gives them a new season record of 2-4-1.

Camden Central beat Harpeth 8-5 in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
