Recap: Anson Tigers vs. Cisco Loboes
The Anson Tigers lost against the Cisco Loboes back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Anson took a 38-19 bruising from Cisco. Anson has struggled against Cisco recently, as their contest on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cisco to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gus Hart, who rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries. Another player making a difference was Kannon Orsagh, who threw for 109 yards and two touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes.
Anson's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Cisco, their win was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 4-5.
Anson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Cisco will be playing in front of their home fans against Hawley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hawley has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 235 points over their last five matches.
