Softball Recap: Westbury Comes Up Short

Westbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 19-4 to the Spring Woods Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-3 back in February.

Westbury's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Spring Woods, their record now sits at 8-14.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Westbury is set to face off against their familiar foe Waltrip at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Spring Woods will take on rival Austin at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
