Softball Recap: Clover Garden School Grizzlies vs. River Mill Jaguars

In what's become a running theme this season, Clover Garden School gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 13-1 margin over the River Mill Jaguars. Winning may never get old, but Clover Garden School sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Abigail Ward made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Ward was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Arissa Duff, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Sydnee Summers, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
