Baseball Recap: Pro Stock Royals Academy Wins Going Away Against Butler

Pro Stock Royals Academy not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 22nd. They were the clear victors by a 13-7 margin over the Butler Bulldogs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Royals.

Logan Ashcraft looked comfortable as he tossed 3.1 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five).

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ty Goodson, who scored four runs and stole four bases while going 4-for-5. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Zac Parenteau was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Pro Stock Royals Academy's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Butler, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Pro Stock Royals Academy will take on Cannon at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Butler, they will take on Charlotte S in a tournament on Wednesday. The Stampede will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
