Basketball Recap: James Lick Comes Up Short

James Lick suffered their biggest defeat since January 10th on Friday. They came up short against the Del Mar Dons, falling 67-46. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-55 back in January.

This is the second loss in a row for James Lick and nudges their season record down to 4-18. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points over those games. As for Del Mar, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-14 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. James Lick will welcome Gunderson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gunderson will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something James Lick surely won't give up without a fight. As for Del Mar, they will face off against Yerba Buena at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Del Mar is facing Yerba Buena at the right time seeing as Yerba Buena is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
