Volleyball Recap: Millikan Comes Up Short

Millikan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sonora Raiders.

Millikan's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Sonora, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Millikan will host Compton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, Sonora and Troy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court one another at 4:30 p.m. on March 25th. Troy will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Sonora surely won't give up without a fight.
