Volleyball Game Preview: Great Oak Wolfpack vs. Vista Murrieta Broncos + How To Watch

Great Oak is 1-9 against Vista Murrieta since October of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Wolfpack will square off against the Broncos at 6:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Thursday, Great Oak came up short against Murrieta Valley and fell 3-1.

Despite the loss, Great Oak had strong showings from Sydney Danylchuk, who had five digs and two aces, and Hailey Kim, who had 11 assists and nine digs. Danylchuk is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Georgia Parks was another key player, getting 14 digs.

Meanwhile, Vista Murrieta lost 3-0 to Temecula Valley on Thursday. The Broncos have struggled against the Golden Bears recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Temecula Valley scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-17, 25-20.

Vista Murrieta's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Great Oak, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.

Great Oak might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Vista Murrieta in their previous meeting on September 11th. Can the Wolfpack avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
