Basketball Recap: Gilmer Comes Up Short

Gilmer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They fell 60-50 to the Kilgore Bulldogs. That's two games in a row now that the Buckeyes have lost by exactly ten points.

Gilmer's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Kilgore, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-8.

Gilmer will be home for the holidays to greet Carthage at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kilgore, they will head out to square off against Spring Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Spring Hill will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Kilgore surely won't give up without a fight.
