The San Marcos Knights will be playing at home against the Rancho Bernardo Broncos at 7:00 p.m. Rancho Bernardo took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on San Marcos, who comes in off a win.
San Marcos stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Poway as San Marcos made off with a 77-55 victory. The win was just what San Marcos needed coming off of a 65-44 loss in their prior game.
San Marcos got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jalen Williams out in front who scored 15 points along with five steals. Derek Tuason was another key contributor, scoring 19 points.
Meanwhile, Rancho Bernardo's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their sixth straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 62-46 to Ramona.
San Marcos is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for Rancho Bernardo, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-18.
Everything went San Marcos' way against Rancho Bernardo when the teams last played on January 10th as San Marcos made off with a 73-52 win. With San Marcos ahead 40-17 at the half, the match was all but over already.
