Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Brendan Redmond and Aidan Porter Lead Mid-Michigan Homeschoolers to Victory

Mid-Michigan HomeSchoolers lost to Noble-Whitley Warriors back in December of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Mid-Michigan HomeSchoolers Mustangs managed a 45-40 victory over Noble-Whitley Warriors.

Leading Mid-Michigan HomeSchoolers to victory were Aidan Porter and Brendan Redmond. Porter went 7 for 13 en route to 18 points, while Redmond dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Porter's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Lucas Taylor was another key player, putting up seven points and eight boards.

Mid-Michigan HomeSchoolers is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.2 points per game. As for Noble-Whitley Warriors, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.
