It was a proper cat-fight when University School of Nashville challenged Providence Christian Academy on Monday. The Tigers walked away with a 3-1 victory over the LIONS.

Meanwhile, Middle Tennessee Christian has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Providence Christian Academy on Thursday.

Griffin Wharton and Michael Geyer scored both of Middle Tennessee Christian's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Middle Tennessee Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-6-2. As for University School of Nashville, their win bumped their record up to 4-5-1.

University School of Nashville took their victory against Middle Tennessee Christian when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 9-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
